Young Boys Save Lives of Two Kittens

Midnight and Twilight have new hope for a brighter future after being rescued by brothers Jayden Reed and Bruce Franks, two young residents of the Mission Training Center.

“On Sunday after the Day of Caring, the boys were out playing by the trailer volunteers had loaded with rubbish from the field. They heard a sound and they went to investigate it,” said Program Director, Patti Rivas.

What they found were two black kittens sheltering in a piece of carpet.

“We took them home and are feeding them with an eye dropper until they’re stronger,” said Jayden. “We named them Midnight and Twilight. I get to keep one of them,” he said.

A search for a loving home for the other kitten is underway.
