Rodney Prunty, UWCNM’s president and CEO recently received two recognitions.

The first was being named as a Business First 2020 Diverse Business Leader honoree. These awards recognize leaders who are promoting authentic diversity and inclusion in the workplace. The program awards leading organizations and executives who are going above and beyond to bolster equality across all areas of diversity, including age, disability, gender, sexual orientation, race and religion.

Rodney and other honorees will be recognized at a Nov. 5 virtual awards event. Business First will share stories in print and online later this fall.

He was also recognized by the Domestic Violence Resource Center (DVRC) as a 2020 Leadership Award Winner. Winners have made a positive impact, used their voice to uplift others who don’t have a voice, or have made a significant contribution in fighting for human rights and change.

Rodney and other winners will be recognized at the 9th Annual DVRC Leadership and Awards program on Oct. 15
